Location: Kildare
Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday
An innovative and forward-thinking company with a turnover of €7-10m, our client has a proven depth of knowledge within the Irish construction industry specialising in Fit-out and refurbishments projects.
They are seeking to hire a flexible all-rounder with proven experience working in the construction or allied industry. You will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the office, duties including general bookkeeping and operational administration support.
- Construction industry or allied experience
- Experience of RCT / Sub-contractor accounts
- IT/Office Admin skills
- Ability to support smooth business operations
- A flexible and adaptable attitude
- Social media/creative flair, an advantage
Required Skills & Experience:
- Construction industry knowledge
- Accounts/Bookkeeping
- Sub-contractor accounting
- RCT returns via ROS
- Sage & QuickBooks, preferred, or similar
- Ability to multi-task
- Flexible and adaptable attitude
- Reliable and dependable
Duties
Day to day processing of debtors & creditor accounts (QuickBooks)
- Payroll weekly 7-8 staff (Sage MicrPpay)
- VAT/PAYE via ROS
- Sub-contractor accounts
- RCT returns via ROS
- Maintenance and upkeeping of company files and associated documentation
- Updating social media platforms and website content
- Administration support
- Ad hoc duties to support business operations
