Our client is currently seeking a Business Development Director in a tax free position.

Salary:  €Neg DOE

Contract type: Full Time Contract

Location: Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:  The successful candidate will play a leadership role in leading strategic partnerships and driving corporate development. She/He will be primarily responsible for negotiating agreements and acquiring marketing authorisations (MAs) and tech transfers dossiers for target product mix

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement frameworks and models to identify and target key strategic partners
• Manage alliances across products and therapy areas as well as strategic partnerships across the value chain
• Lead negotiations and deal structuring with key partners
• Obtain MAs and tech transfer dossiers from reputable MA holders
• Ensure appropriate oversight, documentation and governance of partnerships are defined, developed and maintained
• Monitor performance of partnerships using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
• Develop new ways of doing business to support and push forward business strategy

Qualifications

• A bachelor degree in business, medical sciences or pharmaceuticals is preferred
• Advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D. or M.D.) is a plus

Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech field
