My client, an advisory firm focused on fire, security risk and resilience, have developed a graduate scheme to enable enthusiastic and ambitious people toqualify as a Chartered Building Surveyor.
Successful candidates will be fully supported during the Assessment of Professional Competence with a training programme and regular reviews.
The Graduate Building Surveyor will work in the Building Control & Safety Team. The Building Control & Safety team are currently working on a variety of prestigious projects through-out Ireland and the successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of these projects from start to completion. Working alongside the Fire Safety Engineering team the candidate will have the opportunity to also gain experience in this field.
1- Assist the Assigned Certifiers in the completion of site inspections
2- Assist the Assigned Certifiers in the compilation of inspection plans and certification schedules.
3- Preparation and Management of Commencement Notice and Completion submissions on the Building Control Management Systems.
4- Liaising with clients, the design teams, and contractors.
5- Assist in the preparation of Preliminary Health and Safety Plans.
6- Complete visits of construction sites and attend progress meetings.
7 – Asssist in the review of contractor’s Risk Assessment Method Statements relating to temporary Works and other activities
8 – Assist in the compilation of Safety Files.
BSc (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying.
Must hold a Full Clean Drivers Licence.
