Managing Director

Additional Information:

Managing Director of Fintech Consulting will be responsible for devising and delivering Fintech and innovation strategies to key accounts in the Financial sector, revenue growth, profitability, relationship management & business development across Ireland & EU consulting. This position will be part of the International consulting team, and will be result focused, requiring influence and engagement with key business & IT stakeholders to agree new initiatives and manage existing initiatives.

The International consulting team is responsible for leading consulting engagements, analysis, solution architecture and project management assignments in various customer domains across Channels, Payments, Data, Core Banking, Data and Analytics  for set of customers in International Market.

The Role:

  • Help clients develop and evolve their Fintech strategy, their business model and priorities
  • Develop relationships of influence with decision makers in target clients with  a focus on opening new revenue streams and gaining outcome-oriented consulting work
  • Grow revenue within existing consulting clients and work closely with sales to open new logos within the Irish and European Market
  • Improve the quality of the consulting deliverables, focusing on market trends and value adds in terms of thought leadership, breakfast sessions and building collaterals / IP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Business Development working hand-in-hand with consulting practice leads, sales teams and existing account leadership teams
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business context and marketplace that our business stakeholders are operating in
  • Support and manage demand, open new revenue streams and monitor the quality of current engagements
  • Work with the Practice team to devise and manage strategy for continued growth
  • Responsible for the metrics (Revenue, Billability etc.) driven culture within our function

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A strong background in client relationship management and a proven ability to quickly understand the client’s strategy and objectives
  • Substantial experience of devising and delivering Fintech and innovation strategies
  • No prior experience of working with Banks is necessary as this role is to have disruptive and “different” conversations with clients, predominately in Financial Services
  • Proven experience with disruptive (fintech) Technology with specific emphasis on Product Development, Strategy and Delivery
  • Ability to multi-task, particularly with regard to developing products and solutions that meet specific client demands
  • Communication, group dynamics, problem solving, decision making, leadership, collaboration and continuous improvement are core – being best practice driven
  • 2.1 or higher in a related discipline from an academic institution; Masters a plus
