Mobilise projects: creating the project plan, ensuring clear scope definition, engaging the necessary stakeholders, forming and leading the Project Team.Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT enabled change projects. Work in agile team environments on business critical applications, supported by a team of technical and business experts. Actively manage project progress and status to ensure that projects are delivered within the scope, quality, time and budget. Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the IT projects, highlighting issues or areas of concern and proposing/implementing actions to correct situations. Budget management and reporting on project costing and invoicing for projects under their control. Schedule and manage project steering groups and meetings, ensuring regular reports are issued to project stakeholders. Manage project change requests, issues and risks to ensure project remains focussed on scope and obstacles to progress are rapidly resolved. Report project progress – including status, costs and benefits Coach and mentor others on project management processes and skills including Project Office resources on the project and more widely across Solutions Delivery. Contribute to the continuous enhancement and improvement of project management practices for our clients
Experience and Skills Required:
IT Degree at 2.1 or higher.Minimum of 5 years change and project management experience in the financial sector; Minimum of 3 years change and project management experience in an Agile environment; Broad knowledge of IT systems and processes which underpin solutions that support customer engagement; Proven experience as Project Manager through the full life-cycle of the project (from project initiation to implementation). Proven experience leading business change projects with a range of streams and disciplines involved – e.g. IT, procurement, communications, organisation design, HR, legal, third parties, managed service providers. Third party/vendor management experience; PMP or similar project management qualification is preferable; Scrum Master qualification and experience a significant plus.
