(Tax Free) Supply Chain Program Manager (Defense)

Key Responsibilities:

  • The SCM Projects Manager engage with key stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, manage expectations and communicate project progress aligned with the SCM strategy for the business. This role is a critical link between stakeholders and SCM to ensure project goals are met, risks are managed and effective processes with required resources are utilised. 
  • Manage, monitor and report on overall QCD targets on requirements aligned with SCM strategies to ensure effective operations between Projects and SCM. 
  • Manage and monitor planning and demand set activities from Projects to ensure effective methods on all requirements in compliance with commitments and delivery schedules. 
  • Communicate program needs by leading and attending project meetings and ensure SCM involvement to escalate critical schedule delays and ensure cooperation between stakeholders like Engineering, Planning and Programs.
  • Monitor Contract statuses and report to Projects and SCM. 
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders to leverage in line with the sourcing strategy to identify opportunities of cost reduction and service efficiency to meet QCD commitments. 
  • Oversee and monitor the complete SCM process in terms of Project status to ensure an optimum flow of information and reporting.
  • Monitor and measure effectivity of Project information and SCM processes to identify opportunities for improving efficiency in line with changing Project needs and SCM according to market conditions    Supervise
  • Regularly review QCD scope with stakeholders and identify risk, claims or incidents.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

Experience

  • Minimum: 10+ years’ of experience in Project management and SCM with 5+ years in managing planning and procurement function
  • Preferred: 5+ years’ of experience Defense industry with a GCC regional exposure

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or equivalent
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration / Certified from Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)
