Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Manager to join our Group Global Supply Chain team. You will play a critical role in managing the entire contract lifecycle for our global supply chain network, ensuring compliance, maximizing value, and mitigating risks. This role requires a strong understanding of defense procurement regulations and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the contract lifecycle for assigned suppliers, including negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Ensure adherence to all contractual terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, quality standards, and intellectual property rights.
- Identify and manage potential contract risks, such as delays, performance issues, and cost overruns.
- Analyze complex contracts and develop clear and concise contract language to minimize ambiguity.
- Oversee the negotiation process for new contracts and amendments, ensuring optimal terms for the company.
- Manage contract documentation, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely communication of changes to all stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance against contract requirements and address any deviations promptly.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (engineering, procurement, finance) to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Stay up-to-date on defense industry regulations and compliance requirements impacting contracts.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing contract performance and potential issues for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the defense industry.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of defense procurement regulations

- Relationship Management: Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of defense industry specific terms and requirements is a plus.
