Our client is one of the largest Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service provider in the middle east, through its different Business Units and specialized shops it offers a broad-spectrum of services to support Fighter Jets, Transport Aircrafts, Training Aircrafts and Special Mission Aircrafts and extend the services to cover different applications within the military and civil industries.
Job Purpose:
Direct, administer, and coordinate the internal operational activities of the organization in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the CEO and the Board of Directors.
key Accountabilities:
Strategy
- Develop the internal operations strategy aligned with strategy of the company to ensure vertical and horizontal integration with other interfacing initiatives and projects.
Leadership
- Manage the effective achievement of internal operations objectives – setting individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing and motivating staff.
Budgets and Plans
- Direct internal operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria, and to preserve the capital funds invested in the organization.
- Develop and maintain annually and quarterly plans of the internal operations within the organization.
- Participate in the development and preparation of long-term plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives.
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
- Direct the development and implementation of procedures and controls, to promote communication and adequate information flow
Develop and establish operating policies consistent with the company’s policies and objectives, insures their adequate execution.
Maintenance Plans and Programmes
- Oversee the formulation of plans and programmes for maintenance activities based on requirements and ensure details of various commissioned systems and facilities are included in the plan.
Performance
Monitor and ensure business meet targets on labour productivity, materials use efficiency and planning metrics
Health, Safety and Environment
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the company to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products or service and a responsible environmental attitude
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or in any specialised related fields
- A minimum of (18) years of work experience and (9) of which in a relevant MRO functions
- Master degree in business administration or professional certification is preferred.
