Additional Information:
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of personnel management, including career development, mentoring, performance management, content development, learning framework, and other human resources skills. The HR Manager will work collaboratively with the executive leadership team to understand the organization’s goals and develop a human resources strategy that aligns with those goals. They will also support and guide other staff within the human resources department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement career development programs for employees
- Provide mentoring and coaching to employees to support their growth and development
- Oversee performance management processes to ensure fair and consistent evaluations
- Develop content for training and development programs
- Create and implement a learning framework to support employee development
- Work with the executive leadership team to understand the organization’s goals and develop a human resources strategy that aligns with those goals
- Support and guide other staff within the human resources department
- Handle delicate situations within the workplace, including termination if the situation escalates
- Administer compensation and benefits policies
- Serve as a link between management and employees
- Recruit and hire new employees
- Administer orientation and training programs
- Oversee equal opportunity programs
- Assess personnel performance
- Provide training and evaluation reports
- Verify compliance with legal requirements related to personnel management
- Plan and execute a human resources strategy that falls in line with the organization’s goals
- Support and guide other staff within the human resources department
- Handle delicate situations within the workplace, including termination if the situation escalates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in human resources management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of career development, mentoring, performance management, content development, learning framework, compensation and benefits, equal opportunity programs, and legal requirements related to personnel management
- Experience working in a defense company or other highly regulated industry is preferred
