Investment Counsellor (Ireland)
Our agency is supporting a global investment management firm in the search for high-calibre professionals to join its growing Irish operation. This is a search on behalf of a client that is widely recognised for its excellence in investment management and client service.
This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals who are ready to take the next step in their careers and want to specialise in advising clients on financial markets and investment strategy. The role suits individuals who enjoy building trusted relationships, delivering outstanding service, and becoming experts in their field.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with private clients in banking, wealth management or a related field
- QFA qualification or currently working towards it (preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial markets, economic trends and core investment concepts
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences
- Positive, resilient and empathetic, with the ability to support clients through changing market conditions
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships, delivering consistently high levels of client service
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients
- Act as a key link between clients and internal investment, research, trading and service teams
- Proactively communicate portfolio changes, market developments, and investment strategy
- Develop deep expertise in finance and capital markets through a structured training programme
