Senior Fire Engineer
My client, an advisory firm focused, on fire, security risk and resilience, are seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join their team. The role will report to the Associate Director and the Regional Director. As a senior member of staff, your main role will be to lead large, complex projects, support graduates & engineers with mentoring while adding technical excellence to BB7.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead large complex projects and tasks (such as RIBA Stage 4 & 5 packages, existing buildings and external wall work) while utilising a team of engineers with support from the project manager when required.
– Considerate and committed to commerical risk management and to Health, Safety & Wellbeing of associated team members.
– Overseeing the team and supporting those superior (i.e. Associate and above).
– Strive to deliver BB7’s values in all parts of work.
– Contribute to technical excellence at BB7 – Full understanding of design codes, engineering principles and in different sectors, which is utilised externally and internally.
– Generating a large portion of work required to contribute towards team target while maintaining effective working relationships internally and with clients’
– Coaching & Mentoring to ensure effective teamwork and staff wellbeing. Reviewing and commenting on Graduate and Engineer’s work.
Required:
– Degree in Fire Engineering or equivalent
– Previous experience in an advisory firm is advantageous
